Welcome to the Winsford Academy uniform shop

At Winsford Academy we are particularly proud of the appearance of all our students.

It is our philosophy that an emphasis on smart appearance nurtures good behaviour and good behaviour underpins effective learning. Our spirit of constructive, positive competition is reflected in our uniform. In addition to black blazer, trousers or skirt our students’ ties indicate the Academy house they belong to.

Uniform sets a high standard of appearance, creates easy distinction and saves parents from the cost of indulging fashion-conscious sons and daughters.  Indeed, extremes of fashion are not suitable for, and are often unsafe, in school.

All students must wear full Academy uniform properly, on the way to and on the way home, from the Academy.

The following have been selected by The Winsford Academy as approved uniform.

All items should be labelled with the child’s name.

Girl’s Uniform

  • Black Winsford Academy blazer with school emblem on pocket.
  • White button up blouse with clip on Winsford Academy tie.
  • Black pleated Winsford Academy minimum knee length skirt or straight black trousers.
  • Optional black V-Neck jumper.
  • Black black tights (socks only to be worn when explicity advised by Winsford Academy).
  • Plain black shoes (no markings).

P.E. Kit

  • Purple and white short sleeved training top (unisex or fitted) with Academy emblem.
  • Zipped black & white training top with Academy emblem.
  • Unisex or girl’s black & silver games shorts with Academy emblem or black leggings.
  • Winsford Academy PE socks

Boy’s Uniform

  • Black Winsford Academy blazer with school emblem on pocket.
  • White button up shirt with clip on Winsford Academy tie.
  • Black straight trousers.
  • Optional black V-Neck jumper.
  • Black Socks
  • Plain black shoes (no markings).
