School Uniform Guide
The following have been selected by The Meadows Primary School as approved uniform.
All items should be labelled with the child’s name.
Girl’s Uniform
- Navy sweatshirt with school logo.
- Plain white polo shirt with buttons.
- Plain grey skirt, pinafore or school trousers – straight legged/ no side pockets etc.
- Plain grey/ navy socks with trousers
- Plain grey/navy/white socks or grey/navy tights with skirts.
- Sensible, flat, leather or similar, shoes, dark colour (no trainers).
Girl’s Summer Uniform
- Red Gingham checked dress.
- Traditional type sandals.
Plain navy ribbons and slides should be worn throughout the year or, with the summer dress, plain red or red check ribbons and red slides may be worn if preferred
Optional Accessories
- Navy fleece jacket or reversible jacket, with school logo.
- Baseball cap or knitted hat
- PE and swimming bags, with school logo and in a variety of colours.
- Printed name labels, with a choice of design
Swimming Kit
- Plain navy trunks (not swim shorts) or swimming costume
- Swimming hat (essential for children with long hair)
- Towel
- Body belt or armbands ready inflated if needed
- Receptacle for earrings, or micropore type tape if earrings cannot be removed
Boy’s Uniform
- Navy sweatshirt with school logo
- Plain white poloshirt with buttons.
- Plain grey school trousers – straight legged/ no side pockets etc.
- Plain grey or navy socks.
- Sensible, flat leather or similar, shoes, dark colour (no trainers).
Boy’s Summer Uniform
- As above with option of plain grey short school trousers.
- Traditional type sandals.
PE Kit
- Plain white crewneck T shirt.
- Navy shorts.
- Plain white short socks
- Plain black pumps
- Year 3 onwards – trainers for outside activities and white games shirt.
- Optional plain navy tracksuit bottoms (no logos or shell trousers).
